Donald Trump flies to Atlanta to turn himself in to the authorities: “They are arresting me because I had the courage to expose fraud!”

Former US President Donald Trump is preparing to turn himself in to authorities in Georgia, where he has been formally indicted for attempting to subvert the election result of the 2020 presidential election, won by Joe Biden. Trump left his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, in the evening (in the afternoon in the USA) to embark for Atlanta, where he will report to the Fulton County Jail at 7.30 p.m. local time (1.30 a.m. in Italy): after the related paperwork – which this time could also include taking the infamous mug shot – Trump will pay the bail set in the agreement between the court and his lawyers, amounting to USD 200,000, and will be able to return, at least for now, to freedom.

Announcing what will happen in the next few hours, complete with hourly details, was the tycoon himself via social media: yet another sign that the former president, and soon-to-be re-candidate to the White House, has every intention of turning his judicial saga into a real show for the use and consumption of his electorate. Which, according to all the polls, he actually seems to appreciate, aroused by the tycoon against the judges, the Biden Administration and everything that smacks of the ‘radical left’.

Yesterday’s Fox News interview (which stole the show from the debate between the other candidates for the nomination among the Republicans) was “the most viewed video on social media, ever,” Trump fired off in fine print about Truth. “Now though, you’ll have to excuse me, I have to get ready to go to Atlanta, where murders and other violent crimes have reached unprecedented levels, where I will be arrested by a far-left judge, Fani Willis, for a perfect phone call in which I had the courage to challenge a rigged and stolen election” being arrested by radical leftist prosecutor Fani Willis,” the former president continued (in bold print), renewing those same conspiracy theses and baselessness about the 2020 election for which he is being prosecuted.
