Grimaldi Alliance, with a team led by partner Michael Bray (pictured) and composed of Counsels from the London office, Luisa Bossi and Giada Salvini, assisted BF International Best Fields Best Food LTD in formalizing the investment contract, paving the way for an equity and shareholder financing transaction totaling €15 million by Simest (in its own right and as manager of the Fondo Unico di Venture Capital owned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation).
Simest’s financial transaction will primarily serve to support the BF Group’s international expansion project.
In the context of the transaction, SIMEST acted through its in-house legal team composed of Legal and Corporate Affairs Director Marco Bellocci, Head of the Legal Advisory Service Daniela Di Lauro and Senior Legal Counsel Paolo Colella.
The parent company BF was assisted by Esiodo with a team led by Partner Marco Moretti.
In the transaction, alongside the BF Group, the IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Intesa Sanpaolo Division acted as Sole Financial Advisor, and L&C Consulting & Partners as industrial advisor.”
